Welcome!
Most of us believe change is hard. It certainly can be, and I’ve experienced my share of change! I also believe in the power of change, facing what may be thought of as obstacles and transforming those obstacles into opportunities. As the quote above mentions, we cannot change without facing it.
How I Work
I will hold space with you, as I believe you have everything needed to change obstacles into opportunities and become your best, most authentic self, mentally and physically!
Whether you want to unpack past or current trauma, learn how to manage anxiety or depression, navigate life challenges or relationship issues, healing, growth and yes- change - is absolutely within your reach.
Let’s get started! I can’t wait to meet you!

Therapist Spotlight
What made you decide to become a counselor?
I have always wanted to teach and love humanity and have an intrinsic desire for everyone to be treated with dignity and respect at all times. Further, I've been fascinated with how the mind works. A significant life event I experienced led me toward the counseling profession. I have been a "seeker" my entire life and naturally gravitate toward hope and healing for all of us.
If you could teach the world one skill or technique to improve their lives, what would it be?
DBT Wise Mind and EMDR calm/peaceful place--would love for everyone to have these skills :)
Have you personally been in counseling and if so, what did you learn about yourself?
Yes I have, more than once in my life. I found the space to breathe, reset and learn new skills essential and am grateful for the experience.
If you could recommend one book to all your clients, what would it be?
The Four Agreements-Don Miguel Ruiz. Just fantastice for anyone and everyone in my opinion!
Who is your ideal client?
Adults that are motivated to learn, don't mind some directness and homework during their therapeutic journey
What inspires you to help others?
To continue to see the spark return when individuals may have felt lost and hopeless.
How do you personally practice self-care?
Cannot begin my day without grounding , incorporating mindfulness with a bit of yoga and morning meditation.
If you are hosting a dinner party, who are the 3 people you would invite and why?
Such a tough one, it would definitely have to be more than 3. I'd like to invite all 4 Beatles, Stephen King, Mother Teresa, and so many more. It would be a 3-4 hour meal with lively,
philosophical conversation.
How do you relate to Mindfulness? How do you incorporate it in your sessions?
I incorporate mindfulness in just about all that I do. Firm believer in the fact that our bodies "keep the score" and somatically we register things before our brain may connect with thoughts.
