Welcome
I have one rule in session: We have to laugh at least once.
I am so happy you are taking the time to work toward a better life. I am ecstatic to watch you take the time to put yourself first.
My name is JonTaye’ Bonds and I am a licensed professional counselor. I’m a person centered therapist eager to walk beside you as we take an exploratory journey into your values, challenges, and overall needs.
How I Work
As a person-centered therapist, you will lead and I will follow. Along the way we can increase your coping skills, learn more about mindfulness and begin to experience relaxation physically, mentally and spiritually.
Life is hard, work can be stressful, parenting can be chaotic, relationships can be confusing, and sometimes we are just not okay! Therapy can be a place where you learn more about yourself, your family of origin and the world around you. Even though life is hard we can still have peace. With a mindfulness approach, we can help you find your safe place. We can change how you relate to the world and your suffering in a manner that benefits you. In a life that can sometimes be a rollercoaster, we will work together to handle the ups and downs.
My goal as a therapist is to create a positive, authentic and safe environment for individuals, teens/adolescents, couples and groups. I am thrilled to join you on a portion of your journey.
