Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s of Social Work from Texas State University. She has nearly ten years of experience working in mental health. She has spent the majority of that time supporting survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual trauma. Brooke is passionate about uplifting and empowering women and girls, helping them to courageously reclaim their power. Brooke has also worked with grief and loss, PTSD, and major event trauma. She has extensive experience working alongside first responders and she is dedicated to providing care for them and their loved ones.
Brooke is an EMDR trained therapist with a person-centered approach to counseling. She is also a registered Yoga Alliance RYT-200 Yoga Instructor and she is a certified iRest Yoga Nidra practitioner. Brooke believes in a holistic, full body, mind, and spirit approach to healing trauma. She is passionate about meditation, mindfulness, breath work, and utilizing restorative, trauma-conscious yoga as a somatic resource in the healing journey.
Brooke spends most of her free time in hot yoga classes, on hikes, or in the garden. She’s also kept busy raising her two fierce and independent little girls.

My aim is to create a safe and sacred space for you to heal from your pain, no matter the cause or where you land on the spectrum of trauma. With comforting guidance and unconditional regard, you will be able to examine your struggles from a place of curiosity and compassion. Together we will focus on healing all levels of your life: physical, psychological, and spiritual. My heartfelt mission is to help you find true health, happiness, and well-being within yourself, in your relationships, and in your daily life - for the rest of your life.
How I Work
Healing is a deeply personal journey and I’m honored you’re considering me as your therapeutic guide. I believe in a holistic, integrated body, mind, and spirit approach to healing trauma. I am vehement about the therapeutic partnership and meeting clients where they’re at. I am a person-centered therapist by nature and I consider respect, compassion, and empathy the cornerstones of my work as a clinician. I strive for a collaborative and empowering approach to therapy and to continuously affirm safety in our time together.
I will compassionately challenge you to show up authentically and find the strength to do the work to help get you to where you want to be in life. I whole-heartedly believe that everyone deserves to feel aligned, safe, and at peace. In treatment, I spend a great deal of time on giving you the tools to feel empowered and centered in your daily life and in your healing journey. Through collaborative planning, I will incorporate restorative yoga, breath work, sound healing, meditation, and mindfulness into treatment. Alongside the more traditional work we will do, these therapeutic tools are designed to help resolve symptoms of trauma, nurture your nervous system, and aid in deep emotional and psychological healing.
I am an eclectic therapist and pull from many different modalities to meet the needs of my clients. However, the core framework of what I offer is an integrated approach utilizing somatic psychotherapy, polyvagal theory, iRest Yoga Nidra, and EMDR. This approach helps make it safe to face your struggles and to subsequently support the release of any blockages or trauma stored in the body and the nervous system.
My hope is that you will leave our sessions feeling free, aligned, and authentically you. My aim is to provide resources to stand by you in every emotion, thought, and experience you have throughout your life, so that you may always feel equipped to handle, with peace, whatever comes next.
