We are seeking full-time and part-time psychotherapists (PhD, LPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT), as well as pre-licensed associates. The Austin Mindfulness Center offers a unique perspective to our therapy practice with a focus on mindfulness-based therapy and education. We aim to be a community resource that promotes healing and education through our work.

Licensed Therapists and Pre-Licensed Associates

As a therapist at the Austin Mindfulness Center you will have the opportunity to walk with your clients as they discover what’s holding them back, guide them with the knowledge and tools, and support them in becoming the best version of themselves. As a full-time commissions-based employee, you will have the opportunity to build a caseload of 20-35 clients per week with a steady stream of referrals. You will have flexibility in terms of scheduling, and the option of providing remote or in-person appointments.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing culturally competent mental health services to individuals and/or couples/families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns.

  • Scheduling recurrent or future sessions with your clients

  • Documenting progress and other clinical documentation 

  • Actively participating in the team environment: Monthly meetings, social gatherings, training sessions and other opportunities to connect and learn

  • Completing all recommended continuing education requirements 

  • Securing client information per HIPAA standards.

  • Checking emails and phone messages every workday and responding promptly

We Would Love To Hear From You If:

  • You are fully licensed (or earning your hours) in Texas as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LPC

  • You are willing to have 10 or more client sessions per week (part-time)

  • You are willing to have 20 or more client sessions per week (full-time)

  • You have a strong interest in mindfulness 

  • You have experience in integrating mindfulness into your work as a therapist

  • Additional trainings in specific techniques such as EMDR is a plus

  • You enjoy interacting with peers

Pay: $50,00 - $120,000 yearly income depending on number of completed weekly sessions.
