Grief & Loss
We all deserve to feel safe as we navigate the challenges of life. I pride myself on creating a space you can be heard and feel safe. I see our work together as a joint approach in which we collaborate to work through challenges, navigate to overcome them, and find the beauty in your life. Some things we can focus on include: building healthy relationships, compassion for yourself and others, self-discovery, personal growth, and overall empowerment. Through positive, solution-focused and realistic goals, we work together to address the obstacles in your life. Life is full of obstacles and transitions, and sometimes we need a little help navigating them. Choosing to participate in therapy comes from a place of strength, and I am here to remind you of your own strength, love, resilience, and community. As a therapist, I pride myself in coming from a space of no judgment, understanding, and teamwork. I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
How I Work
I have experience in providing therapy through many transitions in life to both individuals and couples. I have worked with adolescences, adults, and those in later life. I have experience with a wide range of life’s challenges and diagnoses, including: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, medical challenges, self-discovery, communication, goal planning, trauma, and many more. I also work closely with those in the LGBTQIA+ community, I am sex worker positive, and I recognize and utilize cultural competency and honor diversity.
